Step Feeder Manufacturer in China
The step feeder is a highly efficient feeding device that is simple to operate and install, and that can independently feed parts in a predetermined direction to a designated location.
The step feeder has a hopper for storing parts. The hopper’s capacity can be customized according to the size of the parts and your needs. This hopper does not generate vibrations, creates minimal friction with the parts, and does not damage the surface of the parts—so it feeds gently.

Core Components of A Step Feeder
Hopper: It stores parts to keep the step feeder running nonstop.
Motor: Provides the power source for the step feeder’s movement.
Controller: Sets parameters and controls how the step feeder runs.
Elevating Plates: A stainless steel component that pushes parts to the designated location.
Photoelectric/Fiber Optic Sensor: Transmits the status of the parts to the controller to determine the next operational step of the step feeder.
Linear Feeder/Motor: Uses vibration to move parts along the track and finally reach the right spot.

Choosing the Right Step Feeder Type
Depending on the size of the parts and customer requirements, step feeders are available in two types: tabletop and floor-mounted.
Tabletop Step Feeders: Small in size, can be installed on machine tables, suitable for light parts such as screws.
Floor-mounted Step Feeders: Large in size, can be fixed to the ground, suitable for heavy-duty parts such as castings.
Benefits of Choosing Step Feeders
Low Noise: The step feeder generates minimal vibration during operation and produces less noise than a vibratory bowl feeder, creating a pleasant workshop environment.
Gentle Parts Handling: The simple motion of the step feeder causes virtually no part wear.
Large Capacity: The integrated hopper of the step feeder can store a lot of parts.
Low Maintenance Costs: The step feeder rarely breaks down and can operate continuously.

A step feeder is an automatic feeding device that uses stepped pusher plates to orient and transport parts to a designated position. Parts that do not meet the orientation requirements will fall into the hopper and be reoriented for the next cycle.
The service life of a step feeder is usually between 8 and 10 years. We offer a two-year warranty, during which we will resolve any problems with the step feeder.
During normal operation, please don’t overload the step feeder.
Clean the step feeder regularly, especially the hopper, Elevating Plates, and track.
If the operating environment is dusty, add a protective cover.
